The Qutub Minar was built by the Prithviraj who won Delhi from Tomar Rajputs and then completely finished by Qutubuddin and Iltutmish. This tall beautiful tower is one of great masterpiece of Mughal architecture. The floors and storeys have beautiful carvings, it also has pavilion on the top storey when Firoh Shah was ruling. He then built a pavilion on the top two floor of the tower, he made the pavilion floor with white beautiful marble. All around the tower have inscriptions which showed that Iltutmish was finishing the tower. Visiting the tower will be unforgettable experience in life time.

Stepping upstairs of the tower can be fascinating experience, to reveal how the tower is still standing strong even though its age. Try to count the stairs also so fun for tourists, then may compare your counting to real number of 378 stairs. On every step, we will see the beautiful carvings, and we can enjoy it till we reach the top. When reaching the top of the tower you will see the the city view, moreover you will also able to see Hauz Khaz on the left and Jahanpanah and Siri on the right.
